1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using LangTeach ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
LangTeach is an online platform designed for language teachers and educational institutions to create, manage, and deliver language assessments and learning materials to students.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 Account Types
- Teacher accounts: For individual educators managing their own classes and students.
- School accounts: For educational institutions managing multiple teachers and classes.
- Student accounts: For learners enrolled in classes through an invite code.
4. Subscription and Payment
4.1 Subscription Plans
LangTeach offers various subscription plans with different features and limitations. Plan details and pricing are available on our website.
4.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your selected plan. Payment is processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor.
4.3 Refunds
Refunds may be provided at our discretion. Please contact support@langteach.com for refund requests.
5. User Content
5.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service, including tests, lessons, and educational materials ("User Content").
5.2 License to LangTeach
By uploading User Content, you grant LangTeach a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
5.3 Prohibited Content
You agree not to upload or share content that:
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Is illegal, harmful, or offensive
- Contains malware or malicious code
- Violates the privacy of others
6. Student Data and Privacy
We take student privacy seriously. Teachers and schools are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent before enrolling students. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle student data.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by LangTeach and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may export your data before termination by contacting support.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LangTeach shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
